Licensing Agreements: Opportunities for European Companies in the USA

German companies can expand into the USA through license agreements or expand existing commitments. This is because German technology and intellectual property is in demand and also offers attractive potential for the US partner. With this expansion option, the German company is looking at a relatively manageable investment outlay. The license agreement regulates the business basis and the legal situation of the parties and must therefore contain protection mechanisms with regard to intellectual property. The contract is therefore of particular importance.

Galaniuk Law supports and advises companies in the drafting and negotiation of license agreements relating to intellectual property and industrial property rights. Detailed information and an explanation of a case study can be found under Legal Articles (Germany version).
